More Quality from Woodcraft

Fine machining throughout and looks amazing. Could have used some clearer instructions. There was one photo on the website that cleared up where to place the wiring harness on the left side. Don't attempt this install if you don't have mechanical experience. The welded frames on the Ducati super bikes are all a little bit different and this was shown on the right side where I had to take some material off the right unthreaded tube clamp. The slider system is two main pieces attaching with the long engine mount bolt. The secondary clamp bolts to the frame tube with a threaded tube clamp (motor side) and a unthreaded tube clamp. Two allen bolts run throught the main support bracket into the clearance half clamp and then into the threaded half clamp. The support clamp has to be parallel to the engine mount. There was a .040/1.5mm gap between the aluminum spacer and the main mount bracket (long bolt).I used a belt sander to remove .040 on the (back) of the clearance half cap (no threads on this cap) the long continuous side and made sure I was square as I took material off. This took three attempts because you can't replace the material. Once the material was removed, the bracket that attaches to both the main mount and the secondary mount were now parallel. Now it fits perfectly. Follow the instructions given, everything is bolted up loosely. Once you start to snug up the engine bolts make sure the main support bracket is parallel to the tube clamps and the engine mount.
