Our MT09 adapter plate bolts directly to the stock handlebar mount keeping all of the stock clearances- while putting your hands in a more natural position. This setup allows the use of multiple risers giving you the ability to custom tailor the bar height for optimum comfort.
Each plate is machined from tough billet aluminum giving your bike a custom look while making them much stronger than the stock handlebars. The handlebar tubes are kept as separate pieces allowing for inexpensive replacement in the event of a crash.

Below measurements based on 2018-2020 MT-09 Here are some approximate bar movement examples compared to OEM to help you determine how you would like to install them.
1.5 inch riser with the adapter plate in the "UP" 1.5 inch drop - this is the Woodcraft standard kit for this motorcycle.
1 inch riser with the adapter plate in the "UP" 2 inch drop
1 inch riser in the adapter plate in the"DOWN" 3 inch drop *Track only. Requires 10mm spacers ( 12-0409SP-10B ) and steering stop travel limiters.
2021-2023 and up spacers are not needed
NOTE: 2024+ adapter plate can ONLY be used in the "UP" position.

These are beautiful! Machined well for a perfect fit and finish. On the 2023 XSR900, you can flip the 1" to the down position without the spacer. It fits perfectly without it.

Clip-ons fit well, there is a clearance issue with the clutch cable so, as far as my 1 1/2 inch bars, they have to be all the way out so they will be wider than most bars especially if you are adding bar end mirrors. The look is good and you are a little more leaned forward even though the height is the same.

Never had a woodcraft part before. The fit and finish is the best I've seen. I used two offset risers stacked to get these lower and more forward than would otherwise be possible. No clearance issues. Hugs the TFT like it was made for it.

Loved the stock bars but wanted a tad lower and more aggressive so risers would’ve just been a waste, I went with the 1.5’s and it’s absolutely perfect. Beautiful quality on the parts absolutely no corners cut. You are getting what you pay for. Zero complaints.
