Bought it to replace one ground down from a crash. They’re a lot thicker than the original one the case come with. Install went relatively smooth, had to use a punch and file on the case a bit to get the new pad to sit properly, but only because of the crash damage that was there. Other than that, the quality seems good and love the choice of colours they have as an option now.

Always excellent quality from Woodcraft. I mill these to fit my 22' GSX1300RR. At 7mm, they fit perfect, and are still Woodcraft durable!. If you have a little incident, for a minimal price you can replace it, and get back on your way or leave them with a little "character". No worries, you're still protected. Love this addition to the bike's durability.

I wish I could say I don't know how well these work in a crash but they are quite resilient. I replace these after every crash as they typically don't have enough material to take multiple slides without cutting into the aluminum engine cover.
