All of our covers are 100% CNC machined from 6061 Aluminum billet to give you both great looks and exceptional strength with internally bolted replaceable skid plates. Woodcraft 2-piece engine covers are designed to:
- offer replaceable stainless steel (or Aluminum) skid plates which add wear resistance in the most vulnerable area
- keep your bike oil tight in the event of a crash
- often allow for multiple crashes
- give your bike a custom look that will make you stand out in the crowd
This is an engine cover protector. It bolts over the crank cover protecting the lower half that is vulnerable in a crash.

Assembly is straightforward, though it would be good to supply an o-ring. Esp since the sv is 20+years old you can't be sure to use the OEM o ring. Now I have to purchase a separate o-ring from Suzuki. Considering the price of this item (plus shipping and customs fee) I would expect this to be included. Having said that, the quality is outstanding
This is my second stator cover from woodcraft. Put one on my L7 track bike and loved the way it looked. Also went down on it and it held up well. So I went and purchased it for my 21R1. Looks great. Hopefully I don’t put it to use on the street bike ha
Well made. Fits perfectly. Nice looking. Cost is more than replacing the cover that it’s protecting, but if it can help keep the oil in and give you the possibility to pick up the bike and keep riding. It’s worth it.
