Assembly is straightforward, though it would be good to supply an o-ring. Esp since the sv is 20+years old you can't be sure to use the OEM o ring. Now I have to purchase a separate o-ring from Suzuki. Considering the price of this item (plus shipping and customs fee) I would expect this to be included. Having said that, the quality is outstanding

After initial install leaked oil. Cam chain guide dowel bottomed out inside of the hole in the new cover. Needed to drill deeper into the case cover hole for the cover to mate properly with engine before being torqued. I drilled it 1.5 mm deeper. Works great! Thank you.
